Garden Beauties – St John’s Fire, Roses, Geraniums and Tiger Lilies

Just a little beauty for your day — a few photos of my garden this morning!

St John's Fire - 2019 July 6

The St. John’s Fire / scarlet sage in my garden looked pretty bleak in late May and early June, but in the last week or so even the most barren-looking plants started to sprout new flowers.

Rose Bud - 2019 July 6

I’m kind of obsessed with my knockout roses. They weren’t blooming for the last six weeks, so now I’m hovering over every new bud. xD

Knockout Roses - 2019 July 6

The rose bush pictured above is doing the best right now! It was the first thing I planted this spring.

Geranium - 2019 July 6

My geraniums were going crazy this past week. Now they’re starting to go the other way, but some new clusters are opening.

Tiger Lilies - 2019 July 6

I didn’t plant the tiger lilies, but I’m taking care of them anyway! They are lovely but also occasionally messy and annoying.
