I’ll tell you what, folks. My poetic muse is on strike and has been for some time. I’ve been trying to tempt her back with treats and attention, but she’s kind of tired and mopey and depressed. I think she misses Russia.
Maybe a few playful verses would cheer her up?
This is a goofy little thing I wrote in August as part of my 100 Themes Challenge, in response to the prompt WALK. I dedicate it to my poetic muse!
Walk With Me Walk with me now, I'll show you how to kick the sand and laugh. Walk with me now remembering how to dance the wind all dawn. Spin on your toes, wobble your bones, fall on your beautiful ass. You know I like to sing all night to rippling stars with you.
Come back, my love! There’s room for you AND my art muse. 🙂
